Hello! My name is DeAnna. I live with my significant other, Brian and our furry animals – 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have one child. He is 23 years old now and is making a great life for himself. I am a manager by day and scrapper by night. Although I love my job, I have to say that I think about scrapbooking all day long and not just at night!
Why do I scrapbook:
I started scrapping many years ago when I was introduced to Stampin’ Up products and over the years went back and forth scrapping, not scrapping and back to scrapping. I had a huge life changing event when my mom passed away in 2009. I was not ready for it at all. After several months of being in shock, I decided that it was very important to me to get the stories of my family documented as best I could. I discovered some inspiring scrapbookers on You Tube that based much of their scrapping on the stories and knew that this was what I needed to do with my crafting. Of course I love all the pretty paper and fun products out there…trust me…I have a little room full of it! But in the end, what’s most important is having the stories told.
More about my scrapbooking:
I do mostly 12 x 12 layouts but I also complete a pocket page scrapbook and a December album each year. I like to work on different projects, take classes and be inspired by others around me. I am definitely one of those people that have so many ideas and things I want to do but tend to run out of time – or let’s be real – I spend too much time watching You Tube videos! I am really hoping to use my website as a way to share projects, videos, tutorials and lots of inspiration with fellow scrapbookers out there the way that I have been inspired over the years by others.

A Little More About Me
I participate in a group called The Crafty Maven Getaway on You Tube. This group contains quite a few members and we post a video daily based on different themes. The Sunday theme is called “Spotlight” and it’s where the individual talks a little about themselves – who they are, why they scrapbook etc. Here is my Spotlight video. Hope you enjoy!
